IndiDesign created a modern yet rooted visual identity for Carbon, including its Retail Design, and Communication Strategy and Positioning.
Carbon is a leading car care facility brand with a presence across multiple African countries. Starting as a retail tyre chain in 2015, the brand has since grown into one of the region’s premier car care brands, expanding beyond tyres. The company needed a strong and consistent brand identity to showcase its evolution and represent the brand across Nigeria and Zambia.
Our vision for Carbon was to create an international brand rooted in the African culture and heritage. Incorporating its cultural nuances, we designed a brand that celebrates the vibrancy and diversity of its people.
The logo conveys the brand’s energy and forward momentum with a dynamic arrow-flag design inspired by the upward spherical form of the letter ‘C’ (from Carbon). The vibrant colours evoke a sense of warmth, trust, and inclusivity, making the new brand visually striking and emotionally resonant. It gives the company a distinct identity and communicates its commitment to providing exceptional car care services with a consistent brand promise.
