Steel, Scale, Storytelling: Designing AM/NS India’s Annual Report 2025

Industry: Automotive & Mobility Sectors

AM/NS India operates large integrated steel facilities that support key sectors across the country. Its steel powers landmark infrastructure including the recently Inaugurated Chenab Bridge. As an unlisted joint venture between ArcelorMittal and Nippon Steel with global stakeholders, the company required reporting that signals governance strength, transparency, and future readiness on par with the world’s leading listed entities.

“Steel. Stability. Self-Reliance.”
IndiDesign partnered with the AM/NS India team to anchor the 2025 Annual Report around the theme “STEEL. STABILITY. SELF-RELIANCE.” Through stakeholder interviews, document audits, product campaign integration, and targeted research, the theme shaped both narrative and visual direction. The report uses strong imagery of steel in infrastructure, mobility, and energy, including the Chenab Bridge, the world’s highest railway arch bridge built largely with AM/NS India steel, to demonstrate scale, purpose, and the company’s role in nation building.

The content is structured to move seamlessly from a clear Corporate Overview (leadership messages, AM/NS India in numbers, KPIs, presence, applications, R&D, innovation, people, safety, product portfolio, marketing, sustainability, CSR) to key Statutory Reports (AGM Notice, Management Discussion and Analysis, Board’s Report), and finally to detailed Financial Statements (Standalone and Consolidated).

Outcome
The report communicates scale, stability, and sustainability, helping global investors, banks, and rating agencies assess direction and discipline with greater ease. It builds confidence among policymakers and partners by aligning AM/NS India’s growth with national climate and development priorities. Internally, it strengthens alignment by giving leadership, finance, sustainability, and communications teams one shared, compelling narrative.

The project demonstrates how structured narrative, data clarity, and powerful visual cues can elevate an industrial annual report into a strategic communication tool that drives credibility and long-term partnerships.
