Conceived and led by IndiDesign, Samvaad was envisioned as a purposeful civic dialogue platform emerging from the “Hour for Nation” movement in Bikaner, bringing together citizens, professionals, and institutions to co-create a dialog around the future of Bikaner City. IndiDesign shaped every layer of this initiative, from naming and positioning to sponsor outreach, event design, and a cohesive communication system, creating a distinctive identity that reflected inclusivity and long-term vision. Hosted at the historic Lalgarh Palace, the inaugural edition of Samvaad stood as a proof of how design-led strategy can unite diverse voices, transforming civic engagement from passive observation to active responsibility.
Samvaad was launched as a focused civic dialogue born out of the Hour for Nation movement, inviting active citizens, experts, and city stakeholders to collaborate on shaping Bikaner’s future. The inaugural edition, held at the historic Lalgarh Palace on 14 December 2025, became a milestone in nurturing civic consciousness and inspired the idea of a future Bikaner Festival to celebrate the city’s collective spirit and potential.
